no, it isn't. everyone wants to be on top but when they reach it, there's nothing there but empty achievements--no true friends. of course, in the process of going to the top, you have neglected your family; you have abandoned real friendships.
on the top, you are alone. everyone you have trampled on are mad at you. remember scrooge? it's just like that.
worse, when you are blinded by what you have earned, you are afraid that someone else might take it away from you. there will be no sense of peace.
what is the "top", anyway?

no because once you have trampled on everyone there will be no one to share your success with. it would be awfully lonely at the top don't you think

I guess you'd have to ask someone who's on top. There are so few of them, and I doubt if they spend much time on Yahoo! Answers; they are too busy getting to the top of the next heap.
