Yes it is worth it. It seems the current company you work for is low on their pay scale so in reality your counterpart in the new company is ahead of you take the new job work your way back up to your current level and make more money than you ever could at your old job. But that is only if money is your driving force. If it isn't and you enjoy your current job and it fulfills you and makes you happy stay their. But it doesn't sound like you are other wise how would you know about another job and its pay.

Don't make a decision based on near term gain- instead opt for a position that has better long term career potential and advancement even if it pays less in the near term. If your lower position provides greater opportunity in the long term- take the plunge!

yes... its obvious the other company is under paying you if you are being offered a better salary for less work. I know you might think your missing out on a title but don't worry because you already gain experience and your able to put in on your resume.

If this change will open doors and create better opportunites for you within the next couple of years, then absolutely. Sometimes you need to step down so you can take an even larger step up.

Do what you enjoy. The money and position are not good reasons to take any job.

Confront your current company and see if they'll match the higher salary! I did this and got best of both worlds!

You have to look at the big picture. Which job will make you happiest? Money isn't everything.
