I guessing most people are against it cause its morally wrong.
but the thing is, in a creationist point of view, Adam and Eves children must have banged each other to create the human race. So at one point it was OK, but of course it was deemed wrong when there were a lot of people, plus i personally thing it should be wrong because us men are pigs, If incest common, wed have brothers/fathers practically raping sisters/daughters and also it dosent create diversity cause more likly than not, people will marry into their own families, thats why i think genetic retardation of offsprings is a natural safeguard against it it. However, say an adult brother-sister want to have a relationship with no kids, is that more wrong than a gay couple, something that has never been approved by god?
Dont give me, "their both wrong answer". If one had to exist, which would u approve? And dont get into a debate about homosexuality being right either.

I do not see anything wrong with either same sex marriages or incest. If you combined the two, I still see no problem. Let me break down my thought process. I find that there is nothing wrong with same sex marriage because in the end, it's only love. When did that ever become a crime? Additional, America (I assume we're talking about America) claims to grant equal rights to all of it's citizens and yet same sex marriage is still an issue. A marriage is a legal union between two individuals and should not factor in anyone's morals since there is a supposed to be a separation of church and state. Because of these two reasons I think there is nothing amoral or illegal about same sex marriage. Now, I know I said that I see nothing wrong with incest, but I do admit that it can put an emotional strain on family relationships, not to mention that it can make daily interactions weird. The only logical reason that I've seen to avoid incest is the fact that it increases the chance of mutation in potential progeny. I'm in an advanced genetics class and I kind of feel like this possibility is exaggerated and blown out of proportion but it is still partially true (I'm not gonna give u all of the details, go study genetics on ur own free time). But this is a case in which no children will be conceived so that taboo is gone. If two related adults genuinely love and consent to being with each other then that is their own business. Outside observers should have no say so in it.

Incest has been becoming a growing issue of late with improving birth control technology and the amount of attention being paid to issue such as equal rights for homosexuals. I recently read a story involving a young man who learned that his fiance was sexually involved with her own father. She said that it was her idea to start the relationship when she was 25. To say the least, he canceled the wedding, but he began researching the Internet on the subject, and once you got past all the rape incest sites, you began seeing the stories of individuals who see nothing wrong with incest, provided no child is conceived, and with abortion laws, that is also covered.

It is sinful to be a QUEER. So, that is out.

There is definitely nothing wrong with consensual incest. My brother screws me every couple of days. We live to make each other happy. We don't want or need anyone else.

This discussion reminds me: When a guy in Arkansas gets a divorce, is his ex-wife still his sister?

So your basic question is 'if one had to exist, of which would we approve'? Personally I don't think there's anything intrinsically wrong with either one of them. Like you said, if there are no offspring, whats the problem with siblings getting together as long as society doesnt go apesh!t. All relationships between consenting adults should be allowed. There is NO good reason why they shouldn't be, and no one with the right to say it's 'wrong'.

I'd approve of homosexuality. At least there would be no genetically "retarded" offspring occuring. Was that bad?
