I'm 5'7 and about 170. No jiggling fat or cellulite, I'm just not a small person, but I am very proportional. My husband says he loves my body. Is he just teling me what I want to hear or do a lot of guys like this?

As long as your husband loves your body, who else matters? It is my opinion that he's telling you the truth.

Sounds like YOU are insecure with your body? This sounds harsh, but why not do something about it? I am 5'6" and was 160 lbs for the longest time after my second son (about 10 months). I am proportioned and held the weight pretty well, but I hated every second of it. It messes with your head when you hate the way you look and no matter how much your husband says you're sexy and blah blah, you'll never believe him unless YOU believe it.

Start eating better and exercising more. I know this is what everyone says, but I really put my mind to it and went on a 1300 calorie a day diet. The only exercise I get is cleaning my house and chasing my baby and I've lost about 10-15 lbs in the last month.

Remember, it's all about how you feel about yourself, not how everyone else feels.

In regards to the diet (because dieting sucks). It's all about moderation. DO NOT deprive yourself of cheesecake, just don't eat the whole damn thing! ;-) It's about eating right also, when you eat right, you'll realize that healthful foods have less calories, so you can eat more. It will take about 2 weeks of suffering for your stomach to shrink, but when it does, you won't feel as hungry any more.

Wm wife was a lot bigger than that at one time. I loved the way she looked then. She has lost a lot of weight, and stillhas issues with her weight. She does not feel comfortable in her own skin. Your husband loves you. You may not be a six foot hundred pound model, but do you think those people are happy with themselves. If he did not love your body, he would not be around. Most men I know do not want a woman who looks like a rail. You are beautiful. He sees that, and I hope someday you will too.

Well, my wife is about that after 2 kids as well. some cellulitous however that's as they say "life".

If you are insecure about your body you and only you have the power to change it. Eating health, working out. If you are not insecure about your body then let it be.. Personally as a man I
prefer some meat with my taters.. I have a sister in law who is a stick with a bitchy demeanor and attitude to match, I'll take my 165 lb 5'7" wife anyday over a boney carcass with a chip on their shoulder.

If you treat your hubby well, enjoy sex regularly hell that's 90% of the battle.

You know, it is a shame that your husbands word insnt good enough for you. Are you just trying to see if you can get others interested or something?

Does it really matter what the rest of us think, unless you are looking to trade in or at least fool around. Lady, be glad your husband likes what he has and take his word for what he says. Why do you women always think that we didnt say what we meant? Many times, it is just because you dont like or understand the answer. Last time I checked, the validity of an answer was determined by what the hearer liked or wanted to accept or understood.

I agree with other peoples reply. As long as he says he likes what you look like, who cares what anyone else thinks? You're married, he's the only person you should be concerned about pleasing. As far as what other guys like, that's totally subjective. I know guys that only like huge overweight women and they are skinny little beanpoles themselves. My personal preference. I cannot stand a girl who's so skinny I can see her bones. Even just a little bit. Seeing a girls bones is one of my biggest turn off's. Don't get me wrong, I love it when a girl is in shape but the healthy kind of in shape where they look fit and they don't feel like you would break them if you were to have sex with that person. A lot of guys I know would rather a girl be a little over weight than a little under weight. In the end, to each their own.

Has he ever lied to you before. there is nothing wrong with having a little bit of meat on your body as long as you are healthy, and YOU are comfortable with your weight. If you have no complaints from your husband then why ask any of us.

The only opinion that matters is your husband's.....who cares what anyone thinks. Don't overanalyze this, no good will come of it. Your husband says he loves your body, end of story.
