would you do these 2 cruel and mean things?
1. It would be really stupid if someone says global warming is a myth or these kind of cycles are repeating. It is only getting worse everyday. Yet you prefer not to leave your own vehicle.Doesn't ur brain trigger some warning messages that this is dangerous? You get stuck in huge lines of traffic yet you don't EVER want to get out of your vehicle. I personally prefer walking even 3 miles to work unless someone comes out with a eco friendly vehicle. Any time someone points that out you talk just about individuality or trash the global warming stuff. The government could easily have provided lot of public transportation if they liked but you, personally, don't prefer that.

2)When a PLANNED vegetarian diet has been proved to be healthy and more important, proven to be VERY eco friendly why do you reject it. Even the scientists could have done more research to plan out a good veg diet for everyone only if people like u started showing interest in that stuff. Do you lack with ability to think for future? Only stupids prefer to live the way of using personal vehicles and eating the food which involves killing. Isn't that right?
If you are not like any of these ignore the question.

I would prefer public transport, but where I live, I would have to walk miles. I have a 1.5 Toyota in one of the best pollution bands.
I eat food naturally produced whenever I can get it.
And, I am into Animal Rights, human rights, and respect for all living things.
Each person can do what they can. Even the least little thing is that much more done toward sustainability.

1. I am horrified by global warming and what it's going to do. BUT - China & India are exempt from Kyoto because they are "developing economies" and the USA pretty much ignores it at the central govt level (notwithstanding the good effordts at the local level by some states). I am not going to pay 4X the price for energy-saving lightbulbs(globes in some countries) to assist China & India to improve their economies. The planet will survive - by force if necessary. The human race may not. We are the only species theoretically capable of reasoning this out and doing something about it, but we all want a BMW and an iPod - go figure, I've given up.
2. The amount of "food-matter" that you can grow in vegetable form is much greater if you don't shove it down an animal's alimentary canal and then eat the animal, agreed. I still eat 200-300 grammes of meat every week because I believe (perhaps wrongly) that there are certain nutrients in it that I don't know how to get in other ways - please continue to educate us, as I'm sure that it IS possible to survive & thrive without animal products (I would include poultry, fish, dairy etc in this definition).

I think that a lot people feel that it is just too difficult to live without a car, everyone has so much to do and so little time to do it and the world isn't set up to make it easy. I'm not a fan of driving my self I have a bicycle but I live close to where I work and I don't have to rush around getting kids to school, work long hours or have to travel a long way to get to work. I don't live in a city.
I'm vegetarian as well and hate the cruelty animals have to go through to get on our plates. My partner loves his meat but since I've been vegetarian and not been cooking meat for him (so he has it only when we eat out) even he admits that he feels much healthier for it and loves the food I make even more than when I cooked with meat. I eat well and don't need any supplements. I know of vegetarians who do take supplements and meat eaters too but nobody should need them if they eat properly meat eater or vegetarian.
It seems to me that it's all about money. People make money from oil so they will keep selling it, same goes for animals and everything else - their goal is money and they will do whatever they can to sell their product with no concern for anything else except that they will be rich. I also think that people are afraid to think about it all too much for fear of getting depressed or having to live outside of their comfortable bubble. I don't think you should judge and critisize anybody for being how they are just as they shouldn't judge and critisize you and I don't think that being angry is the way to help the situation because people don't seem to respond well to that, I think that some eco activists have gotten themselves a bad name for the extremes they go to and the anger they express and so all Joe Bloggs is seeing (the extreme stuff makes the news) is a lot of angry extreme people and doesn't take them seriously.

A planned vegetarian diet has not been "proven to be important". And also, a planned omnivorous diet is actually better for you. And FYI - didn't you see the news the other day where they found that global warming had actually started reversing itself? It goes back and forth sometime. I do believe overall it is getting worse, but people will not stop driving cars because people as a whole (in American, at least) are lazy.

1) Because I don't believe that humans are causing global warming; it's a natural thing. Besides, I live a lot further than three miles from my workplace and therefore, walking there isn't practical.
2) As other contributors have said, if a veggie diet's so good for you, how come most vegetarians take supplements?

-Because people are used to instant gratification.
-They don't wanna give up the convenience they get out of their vehicle.
-Other people can't walk because they have disability so they need a car.
-When people need to run some errands after work or appointment and time is crucial.
- People can't wait for 30 min to 60 min duration of bus route.
- When you have 2 or 3 kids that you pick up from school or send them to game practice.
-When your pregnant, you can't walk 3 miles.
-When your whole life depends on a car.
Not everybody is equipped for public transportation. Until our government approved of eco-friendly vehicle. Also not be sabotage by big oil company. We can only rely to our traditional vehicle.

The answers easy. We all have free will and we can live how we please.I would not want to make you to walk to work or eat something you didnt want or agree with, so why should some-one who practices these things think it was ok to enforce them on others.you walk your 3 miles per day but i know many including myself that it just istn't possible,i dont have a disabled badge, but find walking for more than half a mile a trauma. My car doesn't advertise this but we all have our reasons for using our cars and indeed eating a particular diet.
You'd be better putting your energy into making peace with other human beings.dont you think.
peace be with you.

Some of us don't work within 3 miles of where we live I am responsible for a territory that stretches across the entire state of California. For the 2nd question I would like to get off of eating meat from animals that are being raised in farms and ranches, I would like to live more primal and kill what I eat myself. Wild animals are more pure and healthy with out all the growth hormones and preservatives used in grocery store meat sections and delis.

at the start, smart and clever are the comparable element, so isn't your query repetitive? 2nd, preparation would not equivalent intelligence. look into Obama- the guy can infrequently talk without his telepromptor, and can't talk clearly and in intensity approximately his stances on subject concerns, yet he has a level from Harvard. he's the single being repetitive, "substitute", "desire", yet what does it advise? Hasn't given a lucid answer yet. in case you think of Harvard=a techniques, then youre an elitist. some genuises by no ability pass to varsity. truly, if Palin replaced into so dumb, how could she have controlled to grow to be mayor of Wasilla, then Governor of Alaska and gaining govt adventure? To me, it truly is greater of a qualification for the Presidency than some snot-nosed elitist from Harvard that has some months adventure as a "community organizer" and balloting present went he wasn't undesirable-mouthing working class individuals in PA. In what way does that qualify Obama? And your final remark- sexist and a shining occasion of political bigotry and patronization based on your elitist paternalistic, "i comprehend what's terrific" bs mentality.

I live my life the way I live it.
I do ride my bike,
But I've grown accustomed to meat since we've been eating it since oh.. I dunno,
THE DAWN OF TIME.
get over it we're carnivors, I'll eat a nice healthy salad and some carrots, with a bannana for dessert.
But with a nice BIG JUICTY STEAK!!
If a vegitation diet is more healthy than meat, then why do vegitarians have to take suppliment pills to get the nutriance from meat that veggies DON'T provide?
