My husband and I have been trying on and off for about 2 + years to have a baby. I was that someone could give me some tips? I am pretty healthy. I dont smoke, I work out, eat well...I was wondering if you know of any natural herbs or whatever that ACTUALLY work? I was going to order a natural fertility drug off of the internet, has anyone used anything like that? And did it actually work? I have read the website testimonials but am not sure....Also, is there anything food or drink wise, that can help with fertility? I am getting pretty down that I havent become pregnant yet...I always figured it would be SUPER easy to get pregnant, but now I see that isnt true.

I know what you mean about : (it would be super easy to get pregnant) that's how i felt 8months ago before i became pregnant! I was done and fed up on tiring anymore until my last subscription of PARENT magazine arrived and there was an article on how to be come pregnant and what helped other couples: YOU TAKE 1 PRENATAL VITAMIN A DAY AND YOUR PARTNER TAKES 1 FOLIC ACID PILL AND 1 ZINC PILL ADAY!We did that and we became pregnant about 2 weeks after taking everyday like it said! I wouldn't tell you if it didn't work!

There are lots of options out there! I personally wouldn't trust anything that claims to be natural off the Internet. Although I have considered it. There is a tea called "Female toner" but if you can not find that then "Red raspberry leaf tea" will help. Those both support female systems. Vitamin C and Zinc are excellent for sperm. I was trying for eight months to get pregnant with my son. I started taking Liquid chlorophyll for my low blood pressure and anemia (it works wonders for anemia like a miracle drug!) anyway I got pregnant. I have been trying to get pregnant again for almost two years now. And I read on the Internet that liquid chlorophyll was proven to help fertility even women that had blocked Fallopian tubes. So I realized it might of helped me get pregnant the first time. I have only been taking it for a few days but already my energy level is way up. I have a good feeling about it. If you want to give it a try you can get it at health food stores for about ten dollars. You can also try typing "natural fertility cures" into a search engine. I got a lot of info that way. Good luck!!

Just be careful using herbal supplements, they aren't approved by the FDA, and you really won't know what you are getting. Then, if you do get pregnant the herbs might have some things that might not be good for the baby. Try taking a vacation and not focusing on getting pregnant for awhile, I know that's hard to do, but the stress and worry you have can actually decrease your chances of getting pregnant. It's been over two years so you should be a good candidate for fertility treatments. I wish you lots of luck, hopefully you'll be a Mommy soon.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

I promise , you will get pregnant!!!

Use this (OVULEX) - You get pregnant in 1-2 months usually.

I had a very hard time getting pregnant, but after I read a lot of message boards and forums I decided to try Ovulex myself. I now have a 16 month old daughter, worked : ) LOL

http://www.yourfertilitychoice.com

* If you email me, I will tell you my pregnancy story using Ovulex (it only took 1 month)...it is really exciting : ) I know trying to conceive can be frustrating (been there), but wow it really is exciting when it happens right away!

Their website also has a ton of information regarding getting pregnant, free pregnancy (trying to conceive E-book) and lots of fertility facts. Even just the info helps you better understand!

My husband and I just started trying and I'm already getting anxious and my husband keeps telling me to be patient and that it will happen when its supposed to happen. I've read many articles on the internet about increasing chances of getting pregnant faster and I read somewhere about elevating your hips on a pillow during intercourse and laying still afterward on your back for about 20 to 25 min. I don't know if it actually works but I've heard of people that have tried it and it worked for them. I also read somewhere that drinking green tea helps with boosting fertility.
Also someone gave me advice on getting a book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. I just started reading that book so you could also check into that. Also I heard somewhere that Yoga is a good exercise for increasing fertility and its also good for calming the mind and body.

I suggest you start charting your cycles. Fertilityfriend.com is great for free charting and ovusoft.com is great for information and support.
If you have been trying for 2 years mabey it is time you should see your doctor. Fertility supplements wont work if there is an underlying problem.

You could also try using a fertility monitor.

Good luck.

I was trying to get pregnant for 2 years as well. I was diagnosed with Endo, and I was told it would be really hard for me to get pregnant. I tried this stuff called "preseed" it is a natural lubricant that coats everything on the inside of you to help the sperm its way to the egg. I used it for the first month last month, and I got pregnant this month. I swear by that stuff now. try it, very inexpensive!!!

If you have a tilted cervix your cervix will never reach the semen pool in the vagina. Sperm do not jump, just swim and if they are not reaching your cervical OS then you will not get pregnant. You might want to use a Conception Cap...trying using yahoo search to find out more...
