yes and no....like everyone said that most of the time what brought you together is that you are a like and this can be good and bad especially if your friends in a lot of peoples views are losers,trouble makers,idiots etc my father had a saying he used to tell me even though me and your mother know your smart and a good person when you hang out with idiots people don't realize this about you and then they get to know you and now they just know your the queen of the idiots because you still hang out with these people.its not fair that people judge this way but in the end its the truth a lot of times that who you are around does reflect on who you are.

That is true- it's along the lines of 'birds of a feather flock together' and 'show me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are'. For the most part ppl gravitate to those who have things in common with themselves.

Very much so. I think we unconsciously look for people to fulfil certain roles in our lives. Of course, as we change, we may not like the people we once were...
