One "simple" problem with warcraft 3?

When I start warcraft 3 my image is darkened and the frozen throne is barely seen and when I try to play(because I can see perfectly the menu options even if the backround is dark) the image is blured

Your video card may not be supported for the game. Also try adjusting the brightness and contrast. You monitor may also be older and experiencing the fading problem. Might be time for a new monitor.
