You'll love this: Remember the song "Afternoon Delight?" I had a friend who thought they were singing "Afro socks ignite!"

for the final time, Elton would not write the lyrics, Bernie does it. Elton writes the music and he would not even comprehend the meaning of the lyrics for a number of his songs, e.g. Take Me To The Pilot. He reported it on one his stay performances in Vegas. via the way, its "Tiny Dancer", not "Tony Danza". Jmbd, Elton John isn't a freak, he has actual skills, in comparison to pretend idiots who use all kinds of machines to make music, the creators of those machines are far smarter than artists who use them and coach off.

You must be thinking of "Tiny Dancer" Elton sings, "Hold me closer, TINY DANCER", not as you thought Tony Danza.

And Jimi Hendriv does NOT sing "Scuse me while I kiss this guy" It's ...while I kiss the sky."
And John Fogerty does not sing "there's a bathroom on the right." It's "...theres a bad moon on the rise."
And Mick Jagger does not sing "I'm so affable..." It's "I'm so hot for her."
That's all of these really funny mis-hearings I can think of at the moment.
