The muscle moves because of the sliding model mechanism between the actin and myosin which requires ATP. With ATP, the myosin head would move upwards and slide across the actin. Upon finishing the slide, the ATP is broken down and myosis goes back down. Another ATP would come in and the process continues. A movement of muscles requires all the actin and myosin works coherently.

The tendon connects the muscle and the bone. So, when the muscle moves, the bone would move because of the tendon that attaches between the muscle and the bone.
