Am a Avon rep and I want some suggestions of how i can make my online ads effective? What could I put/say in them thats catchy and effective? Thanks and please help and no stupid replies please!

do you know that avon has been existing since 1886? if women have been using this product for over 120 years, maybe you can tap on its history and why these products survived till today...
also, i remember, my grandmother used to go house to house in her little outfit and hat knocking at doors saying "Avon Calling". tap on that too.
you can use pictures of actresses from sara bernhardt to paula negri to betty grable......audrey hepburn....farah faucet....to today's beyonce ............ something that uses the fashion of yesteryears to todays fashion and incorporate avon as part of history....
sort of say that during the time they were enchanting the stage and later the movies and the fashion world, avon was always there right beside these women....
make it so that the history of fashion, beauty and the limelight is the history of avon as avon is fashion, beauty and the limelight.

They always say sell the sizzle not the steak - in other words sell the benefits. Everyone knows Avon so brand recognition is not your problem.
So pick a particular product or group of products - work out the benefits.
You want to catch the buyers eye so write a catchy headline then AIDA
Attention You have this problem? We think that we can help you.
Interest We've got the answer for you. have you tried this?
Desire Would you like to be doing this/very rich/getting this? We'll help you.
Action We've got just the thing for you. Do this/buy this now.

Focus more on writing great copy in general than writing great online classifieds copy. It's largely one and the same. You want a strong call to action (call now, buy today). Some type of promotion/incentive (buy 3, get 1 free) often helps, especially if you're new to the copy, so you can let the products sell themselves.

Catch their attention. bold letters, a rash statement, something that gets them to look at the ad. after that, be straitforward. LOOK YOUNGER TODAY! is one you might use for that avon stuff that gets rid of small wrinkles.

try using emotional ad writing...they have samples for you.
Also, you can get classified ad writing software on ebay as well.
