That's a serious step to take. I would file only if you've already tried to work it out or if you know the other person's heart isn't into it.

That depends on the reason for the thought of divorce, if the problem has a solution and you're willing to do it then stay and work on it, if the problem will always be there then you either have to leave or compromise what you believe and stick it out at all costs. Only you can answer that, love does not fix all problems, wish it did. Can't listen to the heart or the head alone, listen to both and find the answer within.

A divorce should be led by the head, never the heart. Do what you know is right, not what you feel is right.

My wife was having an affair, she told me that she didn't want to work on 15 year marriage . I was devestated and cried when I walked out of the courthhouse. I still love her but I know in the long run it will be best good luck! ps if their is children involved do whatever you can to save marriage.

This is a VERY good question! I am having the same problem, i have started the paper work but i am finding it so hard to go through with it. I still love him. I wish i could tell you, but i will say your not alone!

Id listen to my head before my heart. Only because my head will be more rational and my heart would be more emotional.

depends why you were going to file in the first place.
Sometimes the heart can be blinded by love and pain.
If you can seek help together and make it work....then listen to your heart.
if someone is being hurt....verbally or Physical....then yes file.

the heart will always deceive u, look at the facts, look at what is true, the heart sometimes sees only what it wants to see, and denies what is obvious. listen to your head, when making decisions.
