Joking apart, I am a fairly frequent visitor to Glasgow. There are 2 aspects that always come to mind. Firstly, the Glaswegians are a friendly set of people who don't take themselves too seriously. Secondly, I always notice the litter! Its everywhere! Probably a cultural thing, "it's no mine so what the hell" attitude. It is a great pity because apart from being a total eyesore, it spoils what otherwise would be a very pleasant place to visit.

This isn't just a Glaswegian problem. The whole of the UK needs to take some lessons in keeping the streets tidy. When you go on holiday to the US, the streets there are virtually spotless but you always know that you're back home when you see the litter marring every area, even the motorways. That said, councils need to provide far more bins so people have no excuse.

Why are you picking on Glasgow? Everywhere seems to be the same! Where do you live? Is there no litter there or dont you notice it?

Glasgow sounds posh. In Woolwich High Steet in London they lie down with the litter and knock back the tinnies.

Its not just Glasgow.
Look in the car park of any McDonalds. Loads of litter bins but the scumbags just lob everything out the window.
These people just expect someone else to clean up after them.

hey i'm Glaswegian its just neds that litter and junkies and alcoholics and also arseholes but just tell these people to pick it up and and stare at them like ur a mass murderer who lives in a insane ward

Excuse me I am a recovering alcoholic and I do not litter..Its a class problem low class people with no manners litter.
