First He lost his image of "evil" when be gave Trent Reznor a bl*w job on stage..And recieved Oral from his fellow bandmembers.....
If you ever see candid video of him when he is not "on stage or performing" he is a goofy guy who has the personality of the nerdy kid in high school who could not fit in so he joined the "long black trench coat club" every school has one and you know the type of kid I mean...

Lots of MM is an act, but he is truly a protege of Anton Lavey, and he IS an ordained minister in the Church of Satan.
Marilyn Manson is a phenomenally intelligent human being too! This world would be much more boring and square without him.

Its an act.
I grew up listening to 80s metal. Ozzy, Iron Maiden...the rest. Never got into Manson....
I think he takes it a tad bit too far regardless. But still yet he should be allowed to do what he is doing without having to worry about censorship from the religious right.

yes, he is a priest of the church of satan
who knows if its an act or not but if you look at his lyrics, his dress and his actions then you bet its nothing but an act to make money off of silly little boys and girls trying to act 'evil'. they will grow up and realize one day that the almighty dollar is the biggest lure and whatever it takes and how a celeb acts is based solely on how much it will get them.

If you are a Christian then you know the Bible teaches us to stay away from the very appearance of evil. If it looks evil, it doesn't matter whether it is an act or not. It is the appearance that matters.

Its all an act. He probably doesn't believe in god which I don't condone but i don't think that makes him evil. I don't think he is making plans in his mansion to end the world or anything. I've seen some interviews of him, and he sounds like a genius. A very smart guy...He's just EMO.

i happen to love death metal-in fact, im in a band of one. marilyn manson is truly evil, and will rot in hell, like britney spears. however, the crap he pulls is just a front, but no one does that without some background intention, you know. He definitly has some problems, and is not normal.

From what I've read of his teenage years, he was kinda a skinny "Dungeons & Dragons" nerd. I think he's overcompensating a bit for that awkward stage now. I love his music.
