My limited understanding tells me the universe is expanding. I understand it to be expaning at the speed of light. You would have to travel much faster than the speed of light to get ahead of the pace in order to one day reach the limit. But a problem is encountered at that speed because it may well be that time stops when you travel at that speed. By the way this is supposedly theoretical proof that it is not possible to travel back in time, but that time travel into the future is conceivable. For you, traveling at the speed of light, time is at a standstill. The years later when you let up on the gas and put the brakes on, you are in the future but just as young as you were when you started the journey.

That's a big question. To be honest, no one on earth really knows, and if they do, they have not told anyone.
Space may be infinite, never ending, or maybe it is a huge bubble that like in a video game turns you around in another direction when you reach the limit, but you have no idea that just happened because you are still traveling in the dark outer space. If you traveled infinitely, you would most likely see a lot of dark matter, and galaxies all around that seem to be light years away, or maybe you will run into another solar system, with a one perfectly balanced and harmonious planet like ours, because we seemingly are the only planet with life right now.

Infinity is a term we use to show that a system (or the answer to a math problem) has grown beyond our ability to represent it with real numbers. It can be stated that something that is infinite "increases without bound". Something that is infinite is also called "singular" or a "singularity". Dividing any real number by zero achieves the same result.
While it cannot be proven, many astronomers theorize that the universe is expanding at the speed of light. Since you could never reach (or even see) the edge of anything that is growing at the speed of light, the universe qualifies as "increasing without bound", or an infinite system.

no the space doesn't end. It is like Earth (according to Stephen Hawking) which has end but no boundaries.
If we would travel into space for infinity then there will something more space remained for travelling as infinity is more greater than u'll ever think........

Space ends when there is nothing left.
Space is defined as the absence of matter between matter. So when there is no matter, no objects in space for infinity there will be no space.
Infinity is bane of mathematicians. We can't go there and see what it is, we can't calculate it or theorize it. We can only dream of it. We see things go there and we see thing come for it.
Infinity is where everything is the same and nothing exists.

If you walk around the world(assuming you can walk on water) you would keep on walking for 'infinity' as you would never find an end. So with logic the end would be where you are currently standing. The universe is the same.

well infinity is never ending like what religous people believe your life in heaven is infinate by my theory of the solar system is that its a huge black or some form like that and once we go a certain distance you end up on the other side and you dont no it so it feels like infinity for example like the pacman game when you go off one side you come back on the other side hopes this email me if this helped villevallo77@yahoo.com

We don't know if space ends.
And if you traveled through space for infinity you would eventually see everything that exists.
