Yes, Robertson's been a nutjob for at least 6 years. He said the US deserved 9-11 because of our loose morals! Osama couldn't have said it better.
"I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way -- all of them who have tried to secularize America -- I point the finger in their face and say "you helped this happen." --Pat Robertson, September 13, 2001

Unfortunately, no.
He's a money-grubbing con artist that preys on the naive and easily impressed. And further uses his position to inflame situations.
I think that kind of statement is a calculated gamble. If nothing happens in 2007, those who believe in him already will believe whatever excuse he can muster anyway - God saw the people repent, or whatever. If something does happen, he'll take credit for predicting it and look that much more 'inspired' to his followers.
People like Pat Robertson are truly evil - he's on par with extremist Imams that call for violence in Saudi Arabia. He should be charged with hate speech, jailed and his ministry dismantled.

All I could think of when I saw this in the newspapers was, "If God really were going to speak directly to someone in today's world, why, oh, why, oh, why would it be a self-serving, inflated, pompous idiot like Pat Robertson?" Why would Robertson think he, of all people on Earth, would be THE ONE? What kind of person do you have to be to believe that God has chosen you above all others to communicate with, and then what kind of person do you have to be to believe that the rest of the world is just going to hear you say it and not think you are an absolute a**?!

He gets stranger and stranger with age. I've worked in TV for almost 6 years. When I first started, I used to have to watch his show as a part of my job. I never realized how crazy he was until then. He is honestly filled with hatered for so many people.
Didn't you know, Pat is the only religous person who can break the 10 Commandments or command others to break them and so by following Pat's direction, they too shall get away with breaking them. It's ok, he'll be forgiven! Go US!

Yes the Prophet has spoken again claiming God has spoken to him and we are heed his words. Same man who claimed God chose Bush to be president claims he can stop hurricanes and cure hemorrhoids all at the same time. Pat does much to show how out touch he is in mainstream religion. By the way Pat what is net worth?

Oh well, since Pat Robertson is not God, he cannot predict such stuff. He needs to think more positive and get this negative stuff out of his mind.
Lets all pray for Pat Robertson.

there are many people that fall into the sheep category and these T V prophets are good"shepherds" fleecing their flocks. They attract lonely people who want to believe in something and these prophets fill this niche and seem to use religion to fill their pockets all too well. Personally ,I think they have a tendency to bend the truths to suit their collection needs

Yes. Pat Robertson is a total whacko. However, in fairness he was right about one thing:
We need to get rid of Hugo Chavez, and the sooner the better!

...Yeah, Sassikatz, because a guy who professes to have conversations with God in which God reveals future events is completely and totally representative of most religious people.
A woman I used to work with claimed she did the same thing. Then they locked her up and dosed her with sedatives until she spent all day drooling. True story.
