I'm not certain those particular phrases are confined to gays only, as I've heard other people say them from time to time. I think you'd have to pick up on other clues, such as body language and other characteristics. You really can't stereotype, because I once knew someone who looked and acted like a truck driver or a marine sergeant, and was shocked to discover he was gay. So being namby-pamby or saying cutesy things may not be the only indicators of one's sexual orientation.

Why would anyone feel the need to catagorize someone for the way they state things? And who cares if he is gay or not? People are people. I guess you can see that I wouldn't bother with those thoughts at all.

Absolutely not. One shouldn't assume anything about someone else's sexuality. People are not square or round pegs and we don't always fit into one specific mold.

That is just ridiculous....I know people who are gay who never say things like that at all, and people who are straight who do.
Silly question.

No. I've heard straight guys say those phrases. Plus assumptions are the mother of all f***-up's anyway.

Nope, my bf does that. He worships women, far from gay. I think that homosexuality shouldn't be steretyped by people who don't understand.

I pretty much assume a man is gay when he puts his penis in another man's anus.

No...but if he used the words "fabulous" and "shoes" in the same sentence, I might ask to see his GayCard.

No. You would have to be an utter and complete idiot to make that assumption based on those phrases.
