It is more important than ever that you watch your weight. I used pregnancy as an excuse to over eat and I gained 80 lbs with both my pregnancies. It was stupid of me to do that. It wasn't good for the baby, it made the pregnancy harder for me, and in the end I had a lot of weight to lose. And believe me, if comes off a lot slower than it goes on. Ask your doctor for a healthy diet and stick to it.

Probably not. Are you eating a lot? It is normal to gain weight, some people gain more than others. You should be eating healthy and not trying to lose weight, but you aren't really "eating for two" so you shouldn't over eat either.

I am 25 weeks and have gained 30+ pounds. My doctor told me there is nothing to be concerned about as long as I keep my diet healthy.

As long as your taking your vitamines, drinking plenty of fluids, eating balanced meals and staying active then the weight gain is fine. Everybody gains different throughout their pregnancy. If your doc is not concerned then neither should you be.

Not that's good. Better to gain while pregnant than lose. Don't worry about it you will lose a lot of it after the baby is born. If its not a concern for your doctor than you should be fine! Walk more if it bothers you!
