if its an informal situation between the 2 of you then she is pushing it to see how much you will cough up. if its a formal agreement through courts then she has no right to make demands. get it written up properly with a solicitor to stop it happening again xx

If you're making regular payments through a court order and are up to date she has no right to ask for more money.Regarding the money she has loaned off her parents, that's her own problem not yours. If the problem still continues seek Legal advice/CAB.She is only entitled to 12 calender month payments not 13 four weekly payments.I hope this helps

When does an ex become an ex? Never it seems,My advice to you if maintenance was decieded in court is stick to the court order.Just how much do men have to provide for ex wives, partners etc....You didnt mention if children were involved,if they are does she use them against you for more money? Most ex's do,its just such a shame that when adults part company they dont remain adults. Personally, with regard to your ex I wouldn't give her any extra money, does she smoke, drink and go out at weekends? She'll have to cut back if she does....Tell her no and stick to it. New year, new attitude!!! Good luck.

Technically, visitation rights have not got something to do with paying baby help. you may't refuse to grant him young ones if he refuses to pay. He won't be able to refuse to pay in case you refuse to grant him young ones. except there's a courtroom order or a signed contract that he won't be able to take young ones over night, you may't legally forbid him to take them. despite if there's a written contract and a courtroom order, he nonetheless can visit courtroom and ask to alter the determination. this would go on ad infinitum, till the youngsters are of age. If he does not understand that, then reliable for you. If he's acquainted with, too undesirable: he continuously has a maximum appropriate to sue you over custody and visitation. baby custody is in no way very final. So think of very intently till now confronting him. you desire a lawer or a baby supportcustody provider, to tell you in case you have sufficient legal grounds for doing that.

Her loans , bills or parents are not your problem.

Tell her to take a running jump!! You pay her what she's due but if you let her push you round she'll just keep asking for more and more. The more you give the more she'll demand....
So just tell her straight AND MEAN IT you're not responsible for her bills and to sort herself out

I assume that these payments are court ordered (if not you should have made them so) so you are legally obliged to make the twelve payments. (if she wants 13 she should have asked the court to make that order). Tell her just that and make sure you have receipts for all payments you make to her ; better yet set up a standing order into her bank account so you have proof on your bank statements. Why does she expect you to do this - she needs to learn to budget.

As long as your making the payments that was agreed, you have nothing more to do. Be firm with her,if she cant manage her money thats not your problem. Give in and you could make things worst for you in the future.

Tell her very firmly that her car tax, her parents and their bills are all no concern of yours!

She should have from you what she's entitled to, but NO MORE than that.

Give her an inch, and she'll take a mile!

hey the money you give her is for the kids...not her car tax...tell her to foot the bill herself...it does not say anything about pay car tax in a mainainance agreement, don't give it to her....you give her enough each month, it's her car, let her pay, tell her no....you are paying your way for the kids, that's enough
