They say that I am not supposed to eat "bottom-feeding fish"...but I am not sure if seaweed is ok or not. Anyone know?

When I was pregnant with my daughter I ate so much "indian food" !! Everything tasted awesome. And my daughter was none the worse for it. Crab made me sick which sucked because I was doing alot of crab fishing at the time.
With this pregnancy now I love to eat herring roe on kelp, and I can eat crab without getting sick! but I limit myself to small amounts, maybe half a crab and thats it.
I was told that the fish to watch out for are the ones that are high in mercury levels such as tuna. Since that is one fish that I do like to eat I was told to limit myself to one serving every couple weeks, once a month kind of thing.

Seaweed is a plant. As long as it's cleaned and cooked, it's fine. Bottom feeding fish are, for example, cat fish, mudfish, etc.
