Age doesn't matter. Do you feel you can be heavier because you are older? There is not enough detail here...are you pearshape, hourglass figure? What is your bra size? There are many other factors than just height and weight to determine your appearance.

Why are men so dang picky like they are perfect or something? It seems like the men who ask this crap of their wives are the ones who have man-boobies themselves. Does he look like Matt Damon Matthew Maconoghay (I have NO idea if I spelled that correctly, but you know who I mean). No, you are not too big, regardless of your age. When I met my husband (at 21) I was about 152 (at 5 foot 5 1/2, and my husband loved it, now I'm about 125, and he wishes I'd gain weight, but that's just a personal preference). I think the "healthy" weight range for women of that height tops off in the lower 140s (and that's for the mid-20s age bracket, of course, it changes as you age). You said you are 37, so I'm assuming your husband is about the same age. Is he starting some mid-life crisis, wanting some anorexic-looking 20-year-old with perky boobs and a thong? Tell him to give up his adolescent fantasy, you could find someone else who appreciates you better.

I think the range for someone around 5'7'' is 145-150. So I think you're in a good weight range health wise. If you don't think anything is wrong with your body then stay the way you are. Your husband shouldn't care as long as you're healthy.

NO!!! The thinnest you should be at 5'6'' is 135lbs. If you are a bit flabby then do more toning exercises...but other than that you are completely within the normal weight range for your height. Age really isn't a factor....usually women tend to weigh much more than thy should as they age, you however are not one of them.

Well first off your not THAT big. Secondly I feel you can and should only lose weight if it is what you really want. Otherwise it will not work. I personally believe all women are beautiful whatever their size. How do you feel about your weight?

As a personal trainer, let me tell you, weight has NOTHING to do with it.....its all about the muscle tone as muscle weighs 7 times more than fat, and is denser....you telling us you weigh 140 lbs means NOTHING. How much of it is MUSCLE? That is the real question......you can be skinny and grossly out of shape.

You may not be. But your husband wants you to lose weight. I guess he wants you to be mistress size. Personally, I prefer a woman size 8-10.
