I guess ur in the initial period of experiencing weed, and no matter what anyone tells u, it would sound stupid. But really, stop. If it is of no purpose, specially if it does not give you high, means, you have tried before something else, like alcohol, or some other substance which does give you a high, and which did do something to you, ...and please do stop if you want to look for a ''high''...it doesnt do much...If it doesnt burn u deep inside your throat now, it will later and harm u much more. I would never tell you to try it and let me know, but then, try it, you would know. good luck...you shouldnt be doing something you..cant.

My brother says that eating weed will get you high with none of the risks of cancer, and also no burning from smoke. I don't do weed, it's just not my thing. Both of us don't think teenagers should use drugs at all, because your brain is still developing and it's best to give it a clean place to grow. If you're old enough, I hope you're being responsible about it, not driving while high, not letting it interfere with work or college, etc.

Yeah, if it hurts and you're not even getting high, maybe you should quit. Just a thought. It burned a bit the few times I tried it, but I also never got high from it so I stopped trying.

That's what any burning substance will do when you inhale it.

Cigarettes don't as much because they go through a filter and they have been treated for mildness.

Curious, why do you inhale once, feel it burning and stop? If you aren't going to get the benefit from it, there's really no reason to do it.

'cept for the not getting high part, all normal. (you must stop too soon). if it bothers ya, don't do it. you are inhaling smoke, anything you inhale from something burning will likely cause a burning sensation in your throat &/or lungs.

Smoking weed can make you obsessively focus on something so everything in your subconscious that knows good can't possibly exist comes to the surface and you realise the truth.

Yes it's normal. Pot is dry, hot, smoke. Try a bong for a more civil experience. By the way, don't smoke pot. I'm not a drug Nazi by any measure, but our world is not set up to smoke pot. To many measures to punish for it. If you can take it or leave it...leave it. You will have a happier life. If you can't leave it, well then you have to because you can't. So either way you should not until the laws change.

If you don't smoke cigarettes I would not be surprised that your throat would hurt from smoking weed. Maybe you are using the wrong method to smoke...

stop smoking...thats the stupidest thing you can do (other than more drugs) and its not healthy and its nasty. But im sure u already know that. so why are u really smoking? what are u getting out of it? friends? just take the moment and think about it, do u want to be one of those people? be smart and stop and do something useful with ur life

I believe the terminology is "harsh" and it's because you are smoking "rag" or "Mexican dirt" weed. Try something of a better quality if you choose to burn brain cells.
