well, i don't know for sure but I've heard that if you have sex, during ovulation, within 24hrs you have a chance of having twins but hey I don't know for sure.

OK, first of all unless it runs in the family ( and even tht doesn't guarantee anything) having twins "naturally" is kind of a fluke thing. But all that aside why do you and want twins? I ask this being the mother of triplets. Don't get me wrong, I love my boys but having twins, triplets, ect. is a LOT of work especially being afirst time parent. Be careful what you wish for because you might just get it. Then you'll find yourself at 1AM with two precious babies screaming their heads off each wanting attention first and you scrambling to give it to them.
Multiples are a wonderful gift, but just make sure you know what your attempting to get yourself into.

Without artificial help? Hopefully twins runs in the family. Even still that doesnt gurantee your ability to have twins. If you really want twins you will need artificial help, even then it is not guranteed.

It is naturally a genetic thing, but there is a good chance of having multiples if you use IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) because of the several eggs that are harvested and all inserted. When attempting IVF, fertility drugs are taken, which can help with multiples being conceived as well. You should talk to your Ob-Gyn!

If twins don't run in either side of your family's then it is almost impossible to concieve twins without medical assistance. Otherwise if you take fertility drugs that may help to get pregnant with twins.

ivf (invetrofertilization ) procedure...where they take your eggs and put sperm(s) into it and then place the egg back into your vagina.
