How do I tell my mom I started my period? I mean it's not that bad it's just light-no blood. How do I tell her? What is a way I can start a conversation about it? Help me, please!

Please be open with her about it. When my daughter started hers, she thought she had scratched herself down there and did not tell me. I found the evidence doing the laundry and figured it out. I am very open with my daughter and hope that she can and will tell me what is going on in her life. It's not a big thing, really. Have a talk with her ASAP. She will definitely understand, promise. Listen, she is your mom, she knows it will happen sooner or later. You say, "Mom, I got my period. Will you help me?" And she can help you count your days, and get you supplies, etc. I had a mom that I could NEVER talk to, but I have to say when it came to that she was cool. I think it's because that's something that she had to deal with too.

if u dont want to come right out and say it, just casually ask where the pads or tampons are...she`ll get the hint. or you could just be like "man my stomach hurts" and "i feel bloated" till she mentions maybe its your period.....
but if there is no blood how is it your period?

The best way is to just tell her...don't be embarassed about it.
It is a normal thing and I'm sure she knew it was coming, she's just waiting on you to tell her.
She won't get mad....
So the best advice I can give is just tell her....

it seems alot harder than it is (trust me i had to tell my mom that my labia were extreemly uneavenso i could get itchecked out) but yajust tell her you have somyhing important to tell her she will have to kno sooner or later so just get it done with you will be very glad you did she wont thik of you any different anfd she can help you alot

sadly i have to agree with most of the girls drop slight hints till she picks up on it. i tried that but my mother was ignoring me os i ended up havein to just ask her to go get more pads because i had been raiding hers and she didn't have very many. its not as bad as you think. she should be very understanding.
