How do I repair a small hole in a Navy Blue sports coat?

Either apply a patch or if there are still some of the original threads across the hole you could try darning the hole to make a smaller repair that matched the fabric better.

Take it to a tailor, that way the repair will go unseen....

iron on patches in most all colors can be found anywhere fabrics are sold
