Their business is mail, yours is probably flipping burgers. Unless a mail carrier tells you how to short order, you shouldn't worry about mail delivery.

Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds. That's a quote from Herodotus that has been used by the post office.
The post office delivers daily because, many small home based businesses depend on the daily delivery of the mail, and because a mail carrier usually works over 8 hrs a day, now imagine if he had to sort and deliver mail twice that amount. It happens only on national holidays, were mail is held and delivered the next day. but it would be almost impossible to do every other day deliveries

i think of the walking around the grass is okay however the flower mattress is somewhat lots. Postal workers could walk lots whilst human beings have their mailboxes via their front door. i'm beneficial they like it whilst the mailbox in close to the line or the community has clusters of mailboxes. Grass is meant to be walked on, you may pass your mailbox and then he won't walk there. the lads who examine the meters additionally walk in the path of the grass.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea. But how many postal workers would be postal workers if it was only a 20 hour per week job?

I get my mail everyday, but Sunday. Maybe in smaller towns it is logistically a nightmare to deliver everyday.

Have you seen the mailbags they lug around daily, can you really imagine doubling that load. the alternative would be to hire twice as many postal workers. now who is going to pay for that?

It's hard enoigh to get my mail delivered properly now. I can't imagine postal workers doing any less work. Please don't encourage them.
