Stay in Kissimmee and not in Disney World. It's only a few minutes away. You can buy discount tickets to Disney World at the hotel/motel. They almost always provide transportation to the parks free or low cost. http://www.floridakiss.com/ for coupons/discounts and other perks.
The food is VERY expensive in Disney. Carry snacks with you and get your hand stamped and go out for meals if you have a rental car (which I suggest). The Quality Suites is only 1 mile from Disney World and are roomy for a family.

That is funny that I read this question- I have been researching all day the same thing to take my 4 nieces and nephews. Ebay has unbelievable deals on tickets, and DO NOT get a vacation package. Get a hotel from hotels.com for accomadations. You can stay 20 miles away for 1/4 the cost or less, with most of the same ammenities.

The cheapest way is a family daydream. Thats the only way you are going to Disney World cheaply. I have been there 3 times and I did my best to do it as economically as possible but it was still very, very expensive.

there is no cheap in disney I can tell you that ! Hop eyou saved a ton of money together . you can drive down there and get some cheap hotel ,but the park hopper tickets will cost you .

You need to stay at a resort.They have discount tickets at the front desk.
