You can try some placement agencies. Some specialize in entry level and/or unskilled positions. Most will be listed on the web and in your local phonebook.

i got a job 2 weeks ago logging on jobcentreplus.co.uk
it gives you a list of jobs suitable for your hours etc
as i have 2 kids i got one in a school kitchen preparing food, ideal for when my kids are at school and when they're off so am i so i don't have to pay extra child care.

try self employment you can work it with children and around them click on link on profile or email for more info
