Most of what Nostradamus wrote was vague to the point that it's really quite easy to find some historical event that matches the "prediction."

Many of his predictions are open to interpretation. Events that he depicted can be applied to a number of different events in history. I believe that when he wrote his predictions, he chose to word them in a way that would allow people to apply them to different events. So when we talk about the World Trade Center, his predictions can be applied and many people think this is what he had referred to. But his prediction could also be applied to a number of other events.

No, because people say that he predicted these events long after it already happened. Except for the death of the earth.... I guess we have to wait and see about that.
