If you are pregnant, you make the hormone. If you have had a baby, the hormone stops. I know I still feel movements like I have a baby in my belly and my youngest is 3 years old. It has something to do with the muscles in your belly repairing themselves. I have asked my doctor and he said that is normal for years after having a baby.

An over the counter pregnancy test will be detect the HCG in your urine after your 4th week of pregnancy, so yes at 6 month it will work.

I'm not sure but I seriously doubt it'd work after that long. If you are pregnant youre probably more like 2 months pregnant. I'd see a doctor. If you want take the HPT though. It's not too expensive.
