Then the world we be a better palce then what it has become in the past 10 years... It seems as though people are getting smarter with crimes as etc..

Geez, that's a mind-boggling question, however, it wouldn't make any differences, unless you'd like instantaneous actions to be done.
Doing Maths would be a hassle, you'd rely on mundane things such as snail mail, accounting and auditting would take aeons to finish and such the likes.

For the record, computers weren't necessarily invented for us; ordinary consumers, but were invented for scientific/military/commercial purposes, it was only then when apple and ibm suddenly had an idea- "Hey, what if we'd market computers for mass distribution?" Thus, evolving the need to mass-produce consumer-friendly computers. Then again, I'd like to quote an earlier answer from this thread. Life would be simpler in a harder (more spartan) way.

p.s. I'd wonder if there were no computers today, would Bill Gates be a Billionaire?
