We only try to change the government the only way we were given! If you do not like what is going on or who is there now, at the next election, put someone else there to do the job. That is the peaceful way our forefathers did give us and that is what we try to do. All things do not work out no matter who gave you the idea on what to do!

We have become a nation of self-centered people.
As long as we can feed our fat asses in drive thrus, entertain ourselves with useless garbage, alter our climate by flipping a switch and buying just about anything we want, we Americans, by and large, do not care.
We will not take the time out of our precious, self-consuming day to do anything for the betterment of others.
We overlook our governments faults beacaue we have too many ourselves as a whole.
We do not think we can do anything to change anything.
Unfortunatly, a national crisis will have to erupt for us to change. And, I'm sad to say, it's going to happen. I can only hope our children will be able to dig, down, deep into their roots, their heritage and their souls to regain what we will have lost.
May God help us all, and in God we trust.

To be completely honest, the government is smarter than the people as a whole.
Since it seems at times that the media and the government work hand in hand, it makes it even harder to elect people that can be trusted into office.

Corruption was always present and always will be, but the problem is the level of it, it is in the human blood to be sometime subjectiv, but everything should have a limit, especially at the goverment level, sure ideal would be 0% coruption but i'm afraid that that's imposible.

Yes they did...the federal gov't...has been continually taking away the states right to govern itself. In doing this, they have taken the power from the people and put the power in the hands of the Courts.

It is simply because for too long we have let the liberal left guide us down the road to ruin, most notably by their attempts to abolish the second amendment.
I blame the citizens themselves who let themselves be swayed by actors and actress and other "celebrities" who haven't a clue about politics aside from the knee jerk reactions of their handlers. Would you trust Michael Jackson with your child? Of course not but the American people believe him when he says Bush is a "bad man" and is responsible for his woes. America, extract yourself from your self inflicted cranial rectal insertion.
