Obviously a woman of Nancys importance needs to be addressed with all the respect and dignity a woman of her immense stature deserves. Any ideas? Your majesty? Your highness? Queen *****? Best answer gets the points.

Zafrod, I don't attach any distinction as to Nancys sex. She just seems to be, shall we say flexing her muscles with her newfound power and simply wish to find a proper way to address this fine example of the democratic party. Actually she must not be as powerful as we were led to believe. Ask Jack Murtha.

Comrade Pelosi
It would fit well with her Marxist leanings
Whats funny though is these libs on here all say we should call her Madame Speaker, but when do they EVER refer to him as President Bush? Its always dumbya or the idiot or the chimp. What typical liberal double standards!

I am not impressed with Nancy Pelosi and because of my age, 64, I could evaluate her with the wisdom that comes with years.
She could be called Madam Wimp.

Chairman Pelosi
or
General Secretary Pelosi
Depending on if you lean more towards Red China, or the former Soviet Union.
I am sure she would blushingly approve of either salutation.

Welling seeing as I will never have to speak to her directly then I don't need to address her! However here on yahoo there is no limits as long as you don't violate community rules.

Curious that you think a position is intimidating and overly powerful only when it is held by a woman. Calling Doctor Freud.
Anyway, yeah, Madam Speaker will do fine.

In 2009 you may be addressing her as President of the United States, we need someone that can do Complex Problem Solving, instead of shuckin corn

Aww, you conservative babies are crying because she is now the speaker. So you have to resort to name-calling even though she has not done anything deserving of such hate.
Madame Speaker is obviously what it should be.
