I dont understand why kids cant wear hats in school. I mean what is the problem with them?

Polite society, for centuries, have upheld this rule of etiquette and fine decorum of wearing no headgear inside a building. Exceptions to the rule exist, such as in airline and rail terminals, but in general men and women--and children too--uncover while inside.
Many churches have the tradition where ladies may wear their hats inside, but that custom is edging away too.
Hats can also block the view of others behind the person; especially in schools. The wearing of hats in school by children is simply asking for more problems to ensue and if you think along this line you'll receive the answers.

Not only is it disrespectful to wear a hat in a classroom, it can also make it hard to identify the wearer for security reasons. Also, the students sitting behind you might have thier view of the teacher or blackboard blocked by your hat.

Its a sign of respect to remove your hat when inside a building. You would never wear a hat inside a church so I assume its like that but I;m not comparing church to school.

Yeah, I still think that rule is stupid. Sometimes I just felt like wearing a hat instead brushing my hair lol!!!
The rule reason is the fact that its considered disrespectful by some religious schools and in others reasons are the fact that students can hide weapons underneath ........

So you can't hide weapons or drugs underneath them. And so if someone shot up the school, they couldn't hide their face with a hat or something--it makes them easier to identify if they commit a crime in school.

i used to wear a hat to school until i was suspended for that. They think it is disrespect. Well i hope you get it

first of all is because its the school policy. second, its all about the respect thing for wearing it indoor.third,its hard for someone to identify you because of safety reasons.and lastly its because the shcool whats to know that their teachers are able to see all the students face while teaching.

i have no idea but maybe its a sign of disrespect. you wear hats in the cold right? so if you where it inside, it might be implying that the school is like unpredicatble and unsafe..
that kida makes sense... maybe not. i knew one persont that took it so seriously..
