I am getting married the 26th of this month. I am naturally pale with blue eyes and red hair(please not red head jokes I have heard them all) I must confess that i am a fan of the fake tan, nothing too much just a touch of Holiday Skin. I really don't know whether to tan for my wedding or not. My boyfriend doesn't want me to and a big part of me doesn't want to because i want to be myself for the big day. But i also think that everyone looks so much more glamourous with a bit of a tan and make up that looks right is so much easier to come by. Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

I think there is honestly nothing more beautiful than pale skin and red hair. I would die to be in your shoes.
I myself am really not into the whole tan/fake tan look. Natural skin is prettier and healthier.
I think there would be something extremely elegant about a wedding dress and light skin.
I hope you go natural, but if not, I bet you'll look just a beautiful tan on your big day.
Congrats and good luck!

If you think you will look better if you tan then I would suggest doing it. But don't over do it. Just some slight color and slight make up. My mom is a red head and she always looks orange when she gets a fake tan. Hopefully the same doesn't apply to you. Just keep the tan and makeup to a minimum but to your liking and you will be happy. Good luck with the wedding!

You can always do a light tan....just add a slight bit of shade to your skin. You won't want to overdo it anyway since you already have a fair complexion. That way, no one will really notice and you will have a little bit of color for the pictures. Ultimately though, you should do what you believe is best for you. If you are comfortable with keeping it the same, then don't fret. You'll be a beautiful bride no matter what!

Go with the "no regrets" choice. Your wedding day is special and should be remembered with as many positive elements as possible. Isn't it better to look back and feel good about have a minimal stress wedding, than agonize over every detail trying to make everything perfect?

But here's my $0.02..if you plan on looking good in your photos for 50 years later, go with the tan and professional makeup (please hire somebody that is recommended, do NOT do this yourself). It's really amazing what good makeup does, even to a naturally "beautiful" person.

I would definitely go with the natural look. My aunt said this and it is true: you want to look like YOURSELF on your wedding day, you know, and when you look back, to be yourself. I always think that the natural skin tone will look better, the tan may look to fake, and especially if you are going to wear a white wedding dress!!!

I would suggest not getting the tan and makeup wise go with lite powder foundation and neutral makeup w/a lil bit of shimmer if you still feel too pale you can add on a lil shimmer powder or lite colored bronzer but stick to natural things. Hope your wedding day goes wonderfully!

If you go to planetbeach.com look for a salon near you and call they have tanning bed that give you insant color that doesn't last more than a week. I dont know exactly how it works but i went into a planet beach and they lady told me that it gives you color that fades away within a week. there are also many great tanning lotions out there that gives your skin a healthy glow. good luck and congrats

why not get a tan but a few tones lighter than you usually have a few days before hand this way your boyfriend soon to be husband will probably not notice and you will have your confidence of having the tan!

Oh congradulations hope the big day goes well for you!

use a tinted moisturizer rather than a complete fake bake type product. I think Boots and Johnston's do some; try it out a week or so before the big day and if you like it, keep using it (to build it up) and if notm then it will have worn off after a day or so anyway.
