I've only read the "Assassin" and "Fool" novels, but really enjoyed them. I probably prefer the "Assassin" series to the other.

I found it really hard to get into the "Liveship Traders". I read the first 100 pages of the first and stopped there. For some reason I just couldn't get on with it.

I almost bought "Shaman's Crossing" a couple of days ago, as it's been on my list for ages. But I have so many books piled up waiting to be read at the moment, I decided to take the prudent (and difficult) path of waiting a while. I don't think the next one in that series has come out in the UK ... or, if it has, then it's only in hardback, and I don't buy fantasy books in hardback.

The Liveship Traders is great. Hard to get into at first, but worth the effort. The Assassin series and the Fool series are also great, but need to be read in sequence to get the best out of them.

I find her books written under the name Robin Hobb generally very grim. In some ways I prefer her earlier work which she wrote as Megan Lindholm - especially the 'Luck of the Wheels' series.

Her second most recent one - "Shamen's Crossing".

Can't say what the sequel, "Forest Mage" her most recent book, is like as I haven't read it yet but have read all her others (although not the ones published as Megan Lindholm).
