Now why on EARTH would you wanna do that?? Emo is so not sexy. It's disturbing and unattractive, atleast in my opinion. But I guess if you REALLY want to, just wear a lot of black makeup and all black clothes, and listen to whiny "omg i hate my life and wanna die" music. Peace.

You seriously could hate me for saying this but you cannot just wake up one day and be emo. Emo isn't anythign as simple as a wardrobe or a hair cut...it's a way of life. It's the music you listen to, the food you eat, the car you drive, the friends you have, the guys/gals you date, and teh causes you support. It's an entire subculture that you cannot join on a whim just like wearing all black and buying a corss wouldn't automatically make you goth.

That being said, if you really want to change from perky little blonde to something different there are things you can do to dress like one of the scenesters. Buy converse or puma sneakers, get snug fitting track jackets, skinny jeans in dark colors, ballet flat shoes, wrist bands, gummi bracelets, star/skull anything, studded belts, body piercings, two-tone hair, funky eye make-up, black leggings with jean skirts, wife beaters, cutesy tank tops, hair clips, a short spiky hair style, colored fishnets, those tight fitting tees, bangles, a messanger back, newsie hats...

Just play around and expirament. But honestly, if you're trying to be something you're not be prepared for ridicule from those who belong to that subculture.

You may be interested to try with his natural mixture:
** A cup of "black henna,"( but look for the brand which is a mixture of henna and indigo as this doesn't cause allergy.). This can be availed from Indian stores or any oriental markets.
**2 cups of plain yoghurt.
**10 strong black teabags.
**a cup of water

Soak or brew the teabags in plain water until the water turns very dark. Use such water to mix up with henna powder, and yoghurt. Mix it well. The tea and yoghurt acts to make henna release its dye. Apply it in your entire hair and wrap your hair with a towel leaving it for 6-8 hours. Wash your hair the usual way you do it with your prefered shampoo. Once your hair gets dry you will notice the difference of its color and glow.

^^^ that naturally darkens your hair.
and emo isnt really something you can try to be... its who you are... theres a link to a site for emo-type clothes. just be careful... cause if you try to be something youre not... you could get some major backlash...
and FYI.. not all "Emo"s are sad and depressed and cute themselves...

Are you just screaming at people to label you? I can't believe how many times I have to explain this. Lables are bad.

Why don't you go get a mullet, buy someone else's sweat stained clothes from a thrift store, and fake being depressed? There you go.

why do you want to be emo? just be yourself! being someone else is not going to gain you popularity. Being fake is not the way to be. LABELS ARE FOR CLOTHES NOT FOR PEOPLE!!!
