baking soda and ammonia will remove the scuff marks pretty good. Make a paste with the soda and ammonia and wipe the marks off. Then use some white vinegar and water for rinsing it off. Another great thing is a bottle of "Awesome" from the family dollar store is wonderful for doing my kitchen floor. Our old floor is getting pit marks from age and Awesome really gives it a great cleaning. Either way these will remove the scuff marks. Then put a coat of wax on the floor to help make it last longer. Best of luck.

Have you got some form of lino floor cleaner?? Put some in a bucket of warm water (warm enough that you are not going to scold your self but not cold either) then take a rag get down on your knees and give it a scrub with a bit of elbow grease and warm water the marks will come off.

Do not use anything on the floor not designed for floors. And definitely not things designed to ignite other things. THE best way to go is MR. CLEAN magic eraser

The magic eraser erases everything, including red food dye. Scuff marks will disappear with little problem. Good luck!

A little lighter fluid on a rag works great. It will cut the wax some.
