Simple: Right-Click the taskbar (band at the bottom of your screen) and make sure LOCK THE TASKBAR is unchecked. (This option does not appear if you're running Windows 2000 or older. If it doesn't appear anyway, read on.) Drag the taskbar to the side of your screen you want it to appear on, and you're done. Happy computing!

First - unlock it (so you can move it) Then right click on the bar. In menu, uncheck 'Lock Taskbar'. Then you can click and drag it anywhere you want. You can also re-lock it if you like.

First genuine click the job bar(any open part of the job bar) then be confident that the lock job bar selection isn't checked, then you truly ought to be waiting to left click and carry on an open part of job Bar and drag it (only like dragging a document) all the way down to the backside of the reveal, and it will pop back off, you will no longer actualy see the content draggins like while dragging a document, even yet it somewhat is going to pop back. as quickly as its back you could genuine click and lock the job bar (verify it) to make confident it does not get moved back.
