Most boys have growth spurts later than girls like between the ages of 16 and 19. You still have some growing to do. Be patient, don't do drugs, and eat healthy. Poor nutrition can stunt your growth and good nutrition and maximize it according to your genetic make-up. You will only grow as tall as you are genetically designed to. Sorry there is no quick fix to help you get taller. You're probably just going through puberty so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Give it a few more years.

hey, there's nothing wrong with being 5'6 man, im 6'0 and lemme tell you you're not missing much. i always have to be on the look out when i go for a run cause i smack my head into low tree branches when i not paying attention, lol
It's all about confidence, just be proud of who you are. you may yet grow taller. you're only 15 years old, so you've still got some time. but from the trend i see goin on in your family, you'll probably end up a few inches short of 6'0
but you never know.

Wait. If you're going to get taller, you will. There's not a darned thing
you can do to help it, or hinder it. Your genetic makeup determines how tall
you will be, and that's not something you can change. And just what makes
you think you have to be way-tall to play basketball? Plenty of good players
are no taller than you are today, and some are shorter. Work on your skills,
which is an area where you *can* do something, and leave the height thing
to your body, which knows what it's doing.

Sorry to say, but your maximum height is 100% determined from your genes at birth. With proper nutrition, you'll grow to your predetermined height by roughly age 19. So give it a little time, you still have a few years to get taller. And do drink your milk, while it won't necessarily make you taller, it does promote healthier stronger bones.

Sorry to tell you this Danny, there is nothing in this world that is going to change your height. You are only 15 so you are likely to still grow a bit more up to the age of 18. But... no, there are no known methods to make a person grow taller. Your height is already pre-determined.

Genetics and nutrition are two main effective factors in height. But jumping exercises such as basketball and volieyball could be for a bit effective too.
So have a nutritionist consultation and take more of milk and potato...
But firstly try to be satisfied with whatever you are :)

well sonny boy, depends on the genes and nutrition. But to get taller you have to have surgery for this. It was on TV a while back how they increased height of one person 12 inches as she was a dwarf and looked better at 5 foot. I heard Frederick's of Hollywood has a sale on 6" stilleto heels.

Playing sports and eating a protein rich diet until your growth clock stops will help a bit. Men normally stop growing at about 21.
If you see immigrants who are substantially shorter than second generation Americans of their same ethnicity....the reason is protein poor diets when they were in their growing years.
Also avoid body building. Do exercise for shape, not muscle mass. Excessive muscle building while young will stunt your growth.

Eating a diet rich with a variety of healthy foods will help, but since your parents are not much taller than you currently are, you may not be able to reach 6'3''
