Nope. Cytokines are little Hormone-ish protein compounds released by all sorts of different cells so they can communicate with other cells.
The term microbe on the other hand refers to an organism that cannot be viewed with the human eye, but is an organism nonetheless.

So... Cytokine= cell communicator
Microbe= actual cell

No, they are various chemicals produced by the blood white cells during the process of immune reaction to pathogens or other foreign bodies.So a cytokine could be produced to fight a foreign microbe in the body.
