Im in my early 40s and got over all that crush on band/singers stuff in the 70s & 80s with Queen - I had a great time, fantastic memories - but for some reason "singer" Robbie Williams has got a hold over me - what can I do about it?

Just enjoy feeling like a teenager again. There's nothing wrong with fancying a pop star, as long as you aren't going to stalk him, send him nude pics of yourself or generally "lose it". ;o)

sure. Take That have been between the united kingdom's maximum useful boybands, being energetic between 1991 and 1996. Robbie Williams left the band in the summertime of 1995, and the the remainder of the individuals, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald introduced the band's loss of life in March 1996. Barlow and Owen, because of the fact the band's chief songwriter and hearthrob respectively, have been predicted to grow to be the solo injury out stars. Barlow complete 2 solo huge type one hits in the united kingdom, yet another precise ten hit, 2 precise twenty hits and an exact thirty hit. Owen has complete 3 precise 5 hits and a pair of precise thirty hits. Williams went on a rollercoaster experience of drugs and alcohol after his departure from the band and wasn't predicted to volume to lots. His first hits did no longer set the chart alight (2 precise 3 hits, one precise ten hit and one precise twenty hit), however the launch of "Angels" in December 1997 made his critics sit down up, and it wasn't long till now Williams grew to become into for sure starting to be the main useful member of Take That. I have not got any concept what Orange and Donald have been doing for diverse the final ten years. yet Take That, minus Williams, reunited for a excursion this 12 months and are supposedly engaged on a clean album to be released. Williams keeps to be a useful solo artist.

I think I'm in the same boat as you. I never really used to like Robbie at all, but a few days ago I saw a video him performing "Angels" at Live 8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPQhdna79sk and I couldn't help but to fall in love with the guy. It's really creepy cuz I became like this obsessed fan now all of the sudden... lol Even though a lot of people may not agree with me, I think he's very talented and extremely sexy ;P It's all good to act like a teenager all over again. Just enjoy being a new fan of his... I know I am :) You can check out a lot of his live performances on youtube or even add him on myspace if you like ;)

You are over 40. To the younger generation us oldies are past it and probably a bit loopy too. So enjoy it, sing along, and swoon like a teenager. that's what I do. You can also dance any way you want to, even if you have two left feet. They expect it of us!
