I am 16 days late. Me and my husband have 2 children already, our youngest is 3 yeasr old I was on the pill until August, when we both decide it was long enough for me to be on the pill so i stopped we aren't trying to have any more children yet, and we are using alternate protection. I took a pregnancy test a week a go and it was negative. I have had some cramping, I am not sick in the mornings, my breasts aren't sore. Help!!

Periods can be late due to stress!! surgery, illness, up-coming tests-ect can all cause a period to flucuate. Are your periods monthly- every 28 days or so? You can figure you ovulate app 14 days before that time. A dark discharge is usually old blood-when pregnant-about 10 days or so after period is late-a bright red discharge can happen-usually spotty-and the egg cell is implanting into the side of the uterus. Early signs of preg-missed period, nausea or loss of appitite, breast tenderness, needing to urinate frequently can also be attributed to other things. Get an over the counter preg test. but the ongoing dark discharge could be an early sign of hormonal imbalance. You might want to see your gyn or NP. Any fever? That sickness you had-is it a relapse? check it out!!

I tested when my period was 8 days late and it turned out positive 3 tests in a row.

I would get a blood test done i am 11 days late with sickness and taken 4 HPT and they were all neg

What's the big deal? You already have 2 kids. In the time you wrote your question and will read the answers, you could go to the drug store, buy a home test and find out. What are you waiting for?

not necessarily pg but it could be too soon to tell. Just wait another week then test again. if still no period and negative test, consult your doc about it. best of luck.

Take a test again......I've experienced the same thing.....I'm very early pregnant......3 or 4 weeks as a matter of fact......Good luck!
