how can i make a bootable dvd windows xp?

because i need to format my old laptop and it doesn't read cd's,only dvd's. or there are other ways to format and install winxp
or if anybody have a link to download windows vista

What kind of DVD drive do you have on your laptop?

Should be able to copy the CD to DVD ( data). Needs the same info, so the data should be the same in DVD data mode.

it lets you create custom XP installs - very handy
