Well, the rope didn't snap, so do you think it was God's will that he die?
Actually, I don't believe God causes specific things to happen. I believe God ALLOWS everything to happen, because He gave people free will. That's the only way to explain things like little kids getting cancer, or airplanes crashing into mountains. If God stopped every bad thing from happening, life would be surreal.
Sorry, I got carried away.

If the rope had snapped, it would have been Bush's will and not GOD's. Its just him who decides for Iraq and its people.

May it could have been God's will or just an old rope that needed to be replaced.

Things just happens, I don't think it's God's will or the universe. It's just one of those things that happens.
Oh for Eric M- how does free will explain that kid's get cancer? They did not choose to get cancer, and I highly doubt their parents chose to give them cancer.

Not necessarily. It could be someone try to prevent the execution or just poor planning on the part of the executioners.

If it had snapped, they'd have just gotten another one anyway.
