I agree with you! There is no way in hell I would let someone with a past like that babysit. I understand ppl change, and I forgive and forget, but when you are on the hurting side of a rape you look at things a little differently. I can honestly say that anyone with a brain would not let their child be left alone with a sex offender. Common sense. Great question!

Absolutely NOT! Anyone that would allow their young child to be alone with a past molester should be turned in. I believe you did the right thing. It is very possible that you have saved this child from being hurt by this predator.

Absolutely not!! You did the right thing, whether your friend knows it and acknowledges it or not! You should NEVER leave your child in the care of anyone who's ever been charged as a sex offender. She could possibly be charged with child neglect or something along those lines...not sure about the law in the States but definitely NO!!

That is wrong. If I were you, I'd sue her and get her dad in jail. Good for calling social servies. Someone ought to have stepped up, and you did! I'm very happy for you but devestated for your friend who let her father babysit her son. She's risking her son's life and doesn't care. What a careless, selfless, lifeless freak and I hope God gives her what she deserves.

No, I certainly wouldn't...maybe the friend needs counselling or something, there's obviously something not right with her mentally if she's willing to let her child be looked after by a registered sex offender.

Never. He should never be left in the company of a child. These type of men are always looking for new prey and a child of any age would not be safe if left alone with this type of individual. Once a perv, always a perv.
