it seems like the beauties don't know anything...are they really that dumb?? or the show people tell them to be like that?

i think the show people tell them to be that way. just like fox had done with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie for the Simple Life.

Why would they pretend to be dumber than they are? It won't help them win the game, and it is not a popularity contest. They are what they are but I have met people just as bad that aren't beautiful. At least they have that going for them.

The show producers tell them to say the stupid things they say even far as to say simple stupid phrases and things like "Oh em gee that's like R.O.F.L so funny" when the girls get used to the cast and producers they start to tell them i'm not saying that. but at the beginning they go along with it. its pretty lame, would be a much better show if they didn't make the girls looks like idiots.

to the person above me... no they do not try to act dumb during competing and such.
but on the commercials? yeah.. they must have been given scripts.
