Jeans, a polo with a popped collar, and sporty shoes. But if you want to be different, wear what you like. Just make sure it's clean! You could also wear a white cotton T underneath a nice dress shirt with jeans and roll up the sleeves. It's casual, but it still looks mature.

Stick with your own style.
College is college. People tend to give up that popularity race of fadded clothes when they really start hitting the books (and booze).
I would go for things that are comfortable and slouchy. College days tend to be loungy due to studying your butt off.

You could go with distresed jeans, a good pair of flip flops, and sneaks, good bet is footlocker or American Eagle. You can also go to Aeropostale and American Eagle for good shirts that are confortable. Oh striped shirts are really in so that would be good also. Whatever is comfortable for you.

American Eagle. I work there and we have some pretty nice lounge wear on clearence now!
if you dont want a specific brand, Hoodie + teeshirt + jeans/or sweatpants + sandals(depending on where you live)
