I'm just wondering what the liklihood of pregnancy is if on day 40, I'm still having pregnancy tests show up neg.

Based on the "typical" 28-day cycle, you would have conceived around day 12-15. A sensitive urine test would be positive 12-14 days after conception, so it should be positive by now.
But that's the "typical" cycle, which doesn't apply to many, many people. If your cycles are often irregular, than who knows when you ovulated? It could have been on day 20 or 30, who knows?
And even a person with regular cycles can occasionally have one that's a little off.
I'd do another test in a week or so if you don't get your period.

i took 8 pregnancy tests, different kinds, and 4 urine tests that all came back negative and i now have a 6 month old son

keep attempting that's going to artwork once you least anticipate it. problem with countless human beings is they get all tensed up over attempting and that motives them now to not ovulate. basically loosen up and enable nature have a chance.

The chances are low, but still possible. Keep your chin up hun, stress can delay your period also.

I would suggest that if you are having symptoms... go get a blood test done. If not, you should see your dr. anyway!
