are you as happy as i am that the canadians made into the gold medals? and that they defeated the americans today?
i was a bit worried there for a bit but of course we came out on top!

VERY HAPPY!!!!!!!! I love it when the Canadians beat the Americans, considering the rivalry and all, and I'm NOT trying to diss the Americans!
If all goes well, they should win the gold medal, but hey it is The Canadian team... I'm saying silver at the least...

Canada should beat the Russian team in the gold medal game. The Russians played in a much weaker pool than Canada did so their stats do appear to be better. The best three teams in the tournament are Canada, the U.S. and Sweden. Sweden was out-coached by the Russians today. That will not happen against Canada. Go Canada Go!!!

Russia seems like a good hockey team by looking at the stats. I have never seen any of the teams play but I think it will be Russia and Canada in the gold medal game. Russia will give Canada a run for their money but Canada will prove to be the best.
btw, I am Canadian.

Yes, I am glad especially since it was the Americans they beat to get there. I'm not sure they can win though. Although they won the first game against Sweden I felt they were quite outplayed by them. I would say the medals will go:
Gold: Russia
Silver: Canada
Bronze: Sweden

I had to listen on the internet, but it sounded like a great game.
I'm not as happy as you are, since I'm a US fan (and my favorite college team provided a handful of the players on the US Team) but it seemed to be well earned.
That kid from the University of North Dakota (Towes?) sure did have Frazee's number during the shootout.
I'm going to lean towards Canada for winning it all....(as long as they don't have the emotional letdown)...

The only good thing for me is that Kristopher Letang has been a beast so far. I can't wait to see him in a Pens jersey racking up assists on our powerplay!
